Book Illustrations

I am pleased to announce that two of my illustrations have been used on the covers of two new books, each to be published in September later this year.

October Owl has been used to illustrate Katya Balens new children’s book ‘October October’. Published by Bloomesbury Publishing and written in Balen's heart-stoppingly beautiful style, this book is a feast for the senses, filled with the woodsmoke smell of crisp autumn mornings and the sound of wellies squelching in river mud. Secondly, my much loved and popular illustration ‘Shippen Curlew’ has been used to great effect on the cover of James Rebanks new book ‘English Pastoral’. Published by Penguin, and due for release in September, the author of the beloved No.1 bestseller The Shepherd's Life returns with a stirring history of family, loss and the land over three generations on a Lake District farm.
