We have the most noisy but lovely flock of House Sparrows that chatter right outside our bedroom window, living and nesting in the foliage that clambers up the front of the house. They are the sound of home, with their squabbles, fall-outs and constant chatter. We watch them throughout the year and feel so lucky that they have chosen us to live with.
