Angela Harding Exhibition at Yorkshire Sculpture Park - A chronicle of birds and beasts

I’m absolutely delighted to share that I’m returning to Yorkshire Sculpture Park this winter with a new exhibition titled A Chronicle of Birds and Beasts — ten years after my first show there.

In A Chronicle of Birds and Beasts, I’m showing a wide range of new work that explores the vitality, beauty and poetry of the natural world. Among the pieces are a special triptych of large-scale prints — Entrapped Eagle, Waking Fox and Tapestry of Birds — printed with the incredible skill of Dan Bugg at Penfold Press in Selby.

Many of these pieces were born from my time as an artist in residence on Fair Isle, where I spent nine weeks deeply immersed in the island’s birds, weather and landscape. I’m also including 24 small oil paintings, book illustrations, and works created in collaboration with The Wilding Project — including pieces with Isabella Tree and Poet Laureate Simon Armitage. Together, Simon and I will create an exclusive limited-edition print that responds to the exhibition’s title.

Exhibition is from Saturday 14th November 2026 until 28th February 2027
